Chapter Officers

Meet Our Leadership Team

Meet the people helping Metro ATL move forward. Dedicated travel industry leaders guiding our chapter’s vision, education, and member experiences.

President | PTANA Metro ATL Chapter

Carol Hriczov

The Visionary | Building Bridges and Creating Opportunities.

Every great journey begins with someone willing to take the first step.

For Carol Hriczov, leadership has never been about holding a title. It has always been about serving others, building strong organizations, and creating opportunities where they did not previously exist.

After more than 35 years of distinguished service in the United States Army, retiring at the rank of Colonel, Carol carried the principles of leadership, discipline, strategic planning, and service into the business world.

As a travel industry entrepreneur and advocate for professional development, Carol recognizes that travel advisors face challenges that cannot always be solved alone. From building profitable businesses to developing supplier relationships and navigating an ever-changing industry, advisors need more than information. They need meaningful connections, practical education, and a community invested in their success.

That belief fuels her vision for PTANA Metro ATL Chapter.

Under the theme “Building Bridges, Creating Opportunities,” Carol is committed to developing a chapter where experienced advisors share their knowledge, emerging professionals discover their potential, and industry partners become collaborators in mutual success.

Her vision extends beyond monthly meetings. It includes meaningful business education, mentorship, professional networking, and innovative events such as the chapter’s inaugural Travel Stories Expo, scheduled for September 16, 2027, in Atlanta.

Carol believes that when travel professionals come together with a shared purpose, they can accomplish far more than they could individually.

Her leadership philosophy is simple: Great leaders do not merely create followers. They develop other leaders.

And the story she hopes to help write is one in which every PTANA Metro ATL member has an opportunity to learn, grow, lead, and succeed.

Together, We Build. We Grow. We Succeed.

Vice President | PTANA Metro ATL Chapter

LaMont Carr

The Connector | Turning Vision into Collective Action.

Behind every powerful vision is a team committed to bringing it to life.

In the travel industry, success rarely happens in isolation. It grows through relationships, shared experiences, trusted partnerships, and a willingness to help others move forward.

The Vice President of PTANA Metro ATL Chapter plays a vital role in transforming the chapter’s vision into meaningful experiences for its members.

Serving alongside the President, the Vice President helps strengthen relationships among travel advisors, industry partners, and the broader professional community.

This leadership position is about more than coordinating activities or supporting chapter operations. It is about listening to members, understanding their challenges, encouraging participation, and helping create an environment where every voice matters.

Whether supporting educational programs, welcoming new members, assisting with chapter initiatives, or helping prepare for the Travel Stories Expo, the Vice President contributes to a shared mission: building a professional community that creates measurable value for its members.

At the heart of this role is a powerful belief: Connections become opportunities when people work together with purpose.

As PTANA Metro ATL continues to grow, the Vice President helps ensure that the chapter remains welcoming, collaborative, and focused on the success of its members.

Because a strong chapter is not built by one individual. It is built by people who believe in one another.

Together, We Build. We Grow. We Succeed.

Treasurer | PTANA Metro ATL Chapter

Rosa Bland

The Steward | Protecting Today's Resources, Investing in Tomorrow's Opportunities.

Every successful organization has a story of trust behind its achievements.

For PTANA Metro ATL Chapter, that trust begins with responsible stewardship, financial transparency, and a commitment to making every resource count.

The Treasurer serves as a guardian of the chapter’s financial integrity, helping ensure that the resources entrusted to the organization support its mission and long-term sustainability.

While members may see educational programs, networking events, professional development opportunities, and industry partnerships, behind those experiences is the essential work of careful financial planning and accountability.

The Treasurer helps turn the chapter’s goals into financially responsible plans through budgeting, financial reporting, monitoring revenue and expenditures, and supporting sound financial controls.

This role is especially important as PTANA Metro ATL builds its membership, develops new programs, and prepares for major initiatives such as the Travel Stories Expo.

Every dollar represents more than a transaction. It represents the confidence of members, the commitment of partners, and an opportunity to create lasting value.

The Treasurer’s guiding principle is that financial accountability is not simply about managing money. It is about protecting trust and making future opportunities possible.

Through thoughtful stewardship and responsible financial management, the Treasurer helps build a foundation on which PTANA Metro ATL can grow with confidence.

Because the strongest organizations do not measure success solely by the money they collect, but by the meaningful impact they create with the resources they receive.

Together, We Build. We Grow. We Succeed.
